- The single biggest responsibility of your county executive needs to be to reign in wasteful spending and to work with council to ensure precious taxpayer dollars - your hard-earned money - is being returned to you through thoughtful investment. Erie County revenues are nearly $600 million dollars, and every single dollar should be used to fund initiatives that make Erie County a better place to live. We must eliminate duplicative services, costly lawsuits and questionable budget practices, we must hold the line on taxes and fees and stop spending from our reserves.
- I am the only candidate in this race with experience in managing large budgets and personnel. My time with the US Army Corp of Engineers and Illinois Office of Management & Budget make me uniquely qualified to dig deep into our spending, reign it in and ensure every single dollar is impactful and spent legally and as you want it to be.

The heart of Erie County lies in its people, and you will always be my top priority. Erie County's budget is over 60% state and federal resources dedicated to health and human services. Now more than ever, we must strengthen these services, ensuring that each of us and our neighbors are able to get the resources necessary to live a healthy and dignified life.

- I have built a strong sense of community by fostering partnerships—both big and small—that unite all of us. Through these partnerships, my businesses have given out more than $96,000 to a wide range of local organizations, including travel baseball teams, drama clubs, church daycares, robotics clubs, Girl and Boy Scouts troops and dozens of others.
- I believe we are stronger together; a strong sense of community is essential for all of us to prosper. My commitment to you is that I will lead by example, fostering relationships and partnerships at every level. When we come together, we all win. You deserve leadership without distractions, no drama, no games, just a relentless focus on doing what's right and best for our community. I will listen to you, expect to see me out and about holding listening sessions, learning about your concerns and issues. I will not tell you what's best I will listen and try to find solutions and common ground to benefit all of us. Through active listening, collaboration with our public and private citizens I know we will see positive outcomes and an improved quality of life.
